Sema is a filmmaker and editor with a background in NGO film and communications. She specialises in factual filmmaking and working with vulnerable people to make powerful and emotive films which inspire social action.
In her free time, Sema produces and directs oral history documentaries – unearthing and preserving local stories before they are forgotten. She holds an MA in Film & Television, and a BA in Fine Art. When she’s not making films, she can often be found riding her bike around the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
